30-09-2011 Alan ....	Excellent reactor - really keeps the pearls moving. I had been using a Deltec FR509 reactor with a New Jet NJ2300 pump rated at 1200-2300 l/hr and this just wasn't coping. When I decided to increase the amount of bio-pearls from 1000ml to 2000ml to cope with increased stocking levels in my 1500 litre reef tank I decided to give the Gyractor G1000 a try alongside the FR509 with 1000ml in each. There was just no comparison! The Gyractor is far superior for this purpose but uses only 23w compared to 38w for the New Jet. I am so pleased with the Gyractor that I have purchased a second to replace the FR509.
